Leo Gallegos had no choice in the matter when it came to dancing. Growing up the son of
dance teacher, Cindi Gallegos, their battles were epic. As he got older, he discovered the
styles he enjoyed which led to him teaching within the studio. He later expanded his teaching at
16 to traveling with his mother and teaching guest classes at other studios.
Upon graduating from high school he broke from dance and attended college pursuing other
interests. While at University of New Mexico he always found himself gravitating back
towards the dance world. While there he trained with Bill Evans tap performance group when
possible as well as performed in a feature hip hop performance at a national gathering of
University Dance Programs. Over the past couple of years he has continued to teach at
different studios while pursuing other interests. His goal has now become the creation of the
best studio and program possible as compliment to the legacy of his mother. He discovered it
is something he truly loves.
